Join Our Team as an Experienced Accounting Technician!

Are you an experienced Accounting Technician looking for a new opportunity? Fulcrum Group is seeking a skilled Accounting Technician with at minimum three years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare client correspondence, technical reports, client summaries, and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts, and highlights
• Assist in the planning, organizing, and controlling of engagements to meet deadlines including the effective and efficient wrap-up of the engagement
• Act with the highest levels of integrity while always observing regulatory guidelines, fulfilling your due diligence, and handling confidential information with discretion
• Regular communication with the management team as well as clients.
• Attend training courses to further develop accounting knowledge & progress toward obtaining CPA Designation

Essential Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounting Technician
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Caseware, Tax Cycle, iFirm)
• Proficiency with bookkeeping software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation
• Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office software
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Beneficial Qualifications:

• Knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting
• Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Experience in handling audits or external reporting
• Working in a team environment
